I love my design wall. Although I had planned to use black narrow borders as posted previously, I was not happy with the look. So I searched through my stash and started to experiment with different fabrics replacing the narrow black borders.
In addition, I found two fabrics at one of my fabric quilt shops that brought the whole quilt together. It always amazes me how the look of a quilt can change by altering just a few minor pieces of fabric.
I’ve also designed the template needed to make the final border – but that’s a story for another day.
Now to start cutting and sewing!
