This week for Festive for Friday I want to share with you one of the ways that I find time to sew, even in a hectic and busy world. I don’t have kids yet, but I do work a full time job and have lots of friends and family who occupy (in a good way!) my weekends. Sometimes even when I get home at night after work I still find myself running around like a madwoman trying to get things done. I really don’t know how the people with kids do it, and I greatly admire them for their time management skills!
Anyway, one thing I have been trying to do more consistently is to baste hexagons over lunch at work.
Sometimes I take them outside and spend a few minutes sewing in the sun, and sometimes I stay at my desk and watch an episode of something on Netflix (today’s featured selection-Psych). Either way, it’s always a nice to take a break for a bit and I’ve found it makes my day more enjoyable and therefore, in my opinion, more productive!
How do you find time to sew?
